Plans! Plans! Plans!
We all have plans.
God had an epic plan. The plan of salvation, and it is obtained by faith.
The eleventh chapter of Hebrews talks about faith. It is referred to as, the Hall of Faith, and for good reason, for it describes how people long ago lived by faith in God, from Abel to Moses, plus many, many more! Whenever there is faith in God, there is deliverance; salvation. This chapter in Hebrews mentions, to name just a few, Noah, Abraham and Moses and how their obedience included them in on God’s plan to. . .bring forth deliverance in their day.
Noah delivered his house from the great flood,
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11:7 KJV
Noah saved his house and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. He believed God and acted on what God said.
Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. Genesis 6:22 KJV
Moses left the land of Egypt to help his people. He ended up leading them out of the house of bondage into the land of promise because he heard God’s word and acted on what God said. God told Moses to go before Pharaoh, king of Egypt and demand that he let his people go, and that is what Moses did. On their journey out, they encountered one especially large obstacle, the red sea, but God parted it, and they passed through.
By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. Hebrews 11:29 KJV
Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he. Exodus 40:16 KJV
These are just two examples from the Old Testament, there are many, many more!
In the New Testament, we have Jesus Christ, who obeyed His Father and brought salvation to mankind. When we believe and receive this plan, we are saved!
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV
Jesus Christ came to fulfill his Father’s plan, to save us. When He rose again, after dying on the cross for us all, Christ sent the Holy Spirit to His followers to help them carry on with that salvation plan. Believers then, and believers today, are witnesses of Christ resurrection and the new life offered in Him, and we are to share it.
By our faith in Jesus Christ, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, according to the will of our Father in heaven, we help others find salvation by obeying the great commission and making disciples. We make disciples by going, teaching and baptizing.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. John 20:21-23 KJV
Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (HCSB)

All that put their faith in Jesus Christ are delivered from the power of darkness and are reconciled to God.
He (God) has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves. We have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, in Him. Colossians 1:13 (HCSB)
That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God.” He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.2 Corinthians 5: 19-21(HCSB) Please read the entire chapter of 2 Corinthians 5
